Strange question… you must be thinking… and that too from a person who has a dream of becoming an investment banker or an equity researcher one day in life.
Well… Of course… Money is the most important thing in life… can you imagine life without money… How do you live in this world if you don’t have money… can you live life with love, emotions, jazbaats. Most of the rich and rocking people would dismiss this idea as an act of stupidity or as a joke but it is true…
Money is not the most important thing in life.… the most important thing is love… you live in this world to get love, to give love, to make people happy especially your loved ones, you want them to live life king size… but without money… in your dreams…
YES. Money is essential but not important… when this is a fact and when everyone knows about it, then why do people still go after the green paper, why are brothers in the family fighting for properties, why are children killing their parents for it, why are fathers getting their children kidnapped for it, why does dacoity happen, why do politicians have unruly elements in their parties and why do people sell their self esteem for money… why… why… why…
Does anybody have the answers… I don’t have it…
But I will take a step towards answering them:
1) Social Status (which comes from false praising others)
2) EGO (people think they are the six sigma of GOD’s creation)
3) FEAR (what will others say !!!)
4) Philosophy (That Money can buy anything – rubbish)
Probably there are many more reasons… endless… countless… and Gainless…
The problem is even after knowing the reasons we cannot do anything…. For example… I know the above 4 reasons… but there is not even one reason which I will give up when I wake up tomorrow… why… I will still think “what will others say”… I will still live in fear… will still have my EGO… the false social status… I will still try to save every penny I can…
Why am I doing an MBA… when my aim in life is a simple “Keep my parents happy”… when I cant spend a bloody single day with my parents… To Hell with money and to hell with MBA… but I am to weak to accept that and my EGO keeps rejects that idea… So I will continue to pursue my education when I wake up the next day… I cant even be proud of myself…
What a LIFE !!!…. (I hope not to be a human being the next time… Please…)

Hey a deserving candidate,
So freaking true. I have a decent paying job that I stumbled upon. Before I started working I was a student in health care school trying to pursue MS in my field. I hadn’t made any good impressions on anyone in my life …well I have made good impressions but I haven’t really impressed amazingly to other people with my social skills or grades or being very responsible person.
I spent so much money and so much time in trying get an education … i mean spent 2 years in one college 4 years in other college and even in this year of 2008 I still haven’t achieved anything great besides a B.S degree which I could have got from any cheap school in the world.
I just felt like I was the reason my parents were always worried, even I was so stressed and frustrated with my school failures… i ended up getting B.S , started and QUIT my full-time MS and now I am going to work on PAYING MY LOANs and then i will think about doing PART-time MS. .. but it just feels SO GOOD to JUST WORK and HELP OUT parents at home …
So i guess MONEY is NOT EVERYTHING FOR SURE … You take one step at a time …. YOU JUST CAN’T LOOK AT OTHERs life and try to feel guilty for not making 6 figure incomes …

I largely agree with the writer in this article that MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING in life! Money as a medium of exchange can propel lif but can make one rich for ever. For instance, there is no point having money when you cannot enjoy, due to frequent illness, lack of socialisation- making friends and the like.
I agree %100 money is paper!!! But without it how do we buy things?? such as food etc. The Truth is the Bank Leaders of the World can print as much money as they want!!! Why do you think 3rd world countrys stay 3rd World and 1st World stay 1st World. Easy because the Bank Leaders own all the top Bank of the World. But Without money how do people in third World Country’s Survive?? Easy they have communities, friends and neighbours who help each other out Food being the main source. But it doesn’t Really exist in 1st World Countrys!! Some people have all the money in the World such as people part of the following secret societys Bilderberg Group leaders, FreeMasons, Rosicruciens, Politicians, Skull and Bones, and the list goes on.. . Yes they have money, almost Unlimited of money.. Some say they are happy some are miserable.. Because it is True. Love is the only answer to being Happy. Also finding GOD in your life because he does Exist… . Without GOD in your life there is nothing… . .

Assholes…. know one thing… that Money IS Indeed EVERYTHING.
Get Into an Accident caused by no fault of yours and injured badly. The other party escapes with mild rashes. What will you do.
If nobody comes near you to call ambulance. What will you do.
You are fainted you cannot do anything and even the traffic constable stays out of your way not helping you. What will you do.
You are injured that you cannot sleep properly or even lie down properly and cannot take food all by yourselves. What will you do.
Even in these cases yes money is needed.
Too much in anything causes greed and madness towards it.
For all above with people you care and to support you, you would get well easily.
Else just with money all round you, all false relationships and false attitude towards you.

Its all relative whether money is all that important, it all depends on wat ur going thru and wat ur circumstances are !.. i being a perfectly normal guy , with a reasonable sense of knowledge about everything wat i have gone thru ca say that ther r many other things which we as human being should be worried about than money.but in this maniac world no one bothers what their hidden talents r, no one spends enough time to pursue their hobbies, pity those who keep everything that keeps u happy at the cost of money.i after realising wat money is in its true sense, gave up my 6 digit salary job just to oursue my intrests. i belive in chasing excellence and well this world is so configured that it rewards talent and originality with money anyways.. soo theres no point in chasing money if u can just spend ur time concentrating on wat ur abilities r and how u can put them to use for a greater good of societyand ultimately u will have monetary success as well.
Guess you have realized the real true essence of life 🙂

Money is the foundation of everything, so in a way, money is everything. In today’s realistic society, countless arguments between people and people, even government and government, stem from the differences in financial statuses. When people think that money cannot buy love, and in some degree, I believe that myself, but a relationship without money as the intangible supporting structure usually collapses over-time. Think about the increasing divorcing rate. Some might say that the reason why the rate is so high is because of all the rich people constantly wanting to marry a better-looking wife and divorcing the “used-up” one. But still, there is only about 2 percent of the population who are wealthy, and this 2 percent cannot and will not cause a noticeable increase in the divorcing rate. So with that said, it means the large percentage of the divorces is from middle-class or lower-class. And for them, money is often the problem that stimulates various problems. The notion that money cannot buy knowledge is also one-sided and flawed. People with more money often tends to follow the technological advances more closely than less wealthy people, and this advantage lets the rich people a chance to learn more and to experience more. And the fact that the person is rich indicates that he or she has an average or an above average intelligence, which suggests that the individual has the same learning capacity as most people in the two lower classes. As the world is becoming more materialistic, money can boost one’s self-confidence. So psychologically, it is beneficial to many people, especially people with low self-esteem. Furthermore, although health is important, but what keeps a person healthy? The answer is money. The best example is if two people both have lung cancer and the only way to treat it is an expensive surgery. Would the richer guy have a better survival chance than the poorer one? I would say so. I fervently believe that money is everything in the sense that without money, it is almost impossible to accomplish any tasks, whether it is maintaining a relationship, going to a college, or even just to survive.

yes i em agree with james that money is everything.. if no money then no future if u want love or give love u need money because without money no one will came around u. so if u have money then u can get everything for example health,gud treatrment of ur desease and many race of life.. but the people say that it is intangible argument that man should have love,happines not money ,, so my queestion is from u guys that how u came to have hapines nd love.. hapiness is what u get that u arent expexted .. or u r expecting from a long time ng u get it.. thats y .. people shuolld have money rather than have a emotional aurguments..
